Our vineyard thrives in the cool winters and warm summers, with ancient gravel loam soils that produce intensely flavored wine grapes. Established in 1995, we grow Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, and Verdelho, with plans to expand.

We embraced the opportunity to bring the land back to life. It has been an immense task but a true labor of love.
We named it Bungarra Wines after the Sand Goannas that roam the vineyard in summer—a fitting symbol of Australia’s wild beauty.

A little extra care for our vineyard babies 🌱🍇
This year we’ve planted a number of new rootlings to fill the gaps where some of our old vines have given up the ghost.
Now it’s time to give our babies a bit of love and feed them up so they are big and strong.
Here’s Kal, one of our workers, on the Manitou with a 1,000L IBC of Bungarra’s Special Brew with water (not wine… just to be clear! 😂).
Every two days we head through the vineyard to give our young vines some extra water (and brew) to help them get established.
These little ones have a long way to go before they’re making wine, but everyone has to start somewhere! 🍷
