We embraced the opportunity to bring the land back to life. It has been an immense task but a true labor of love.
We named it Bungarra Wines after the Sand Goannas that roam the vineyard in summer—a fitting symbol of Australia’s wild beauty.

🩶 It may just seem like a boring grey box to you... but to us, it's a godsend. 🙏
We had a generator and it was playing up and unreliable, not what you want in an emergency... so introducing our shiny new one.
We may not be that far from Perth but power outages happen all the time and we need a generator to kick in and take over when this happens. Keeps the bores, the retic, the kettle and of course the cool room/ cellar going.
The most important thing however, is in summer. If there is a bushfire approaching, one of the first things to go is the power supply. The generator means we can run the sprinkler systems protecting the house and other areas of the property.
She may be expensive but worth every $$ for the protection she may hopefully never need to provide.

✨ Update on the Roof...
This actually happened at the end of May but thought we better share with you. We finally have a roof (rather than a flapping tarp) over our heads!
It only took seven months but glad to have a new roof for winter.

Our 2024 Chardonnay impressed Ray Jordan, describing it as a "lighter style Chardonnay, but with good flavour intensity" it has "nice lemony grapefruit, slightly brioche character and a very pleasing, delicately poised palate"
The judges at the Perth Hills Wine Show described it as a "balanced style, well handled subtle oak... generous fruit, well balanced, fresh vibrant"
